Project Description
Jamie is a girl in a small desert town who dreams of the ocean, even though she’s never seen it, which is the topic of her university application essay. Her best friend Noah thinks she should focus on her life in their small drought-stricken town, with her Mum and little sister Bobbie. But when a new neighbour arrives who collects rain in jars Jamie wonders what it might be like to find the water at last.
It’s I Saw the TV Glow, meets Edward Scissorhands, meets Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
